Seldovia Duck Hunting
$2000pp per 4 day hunt
Seldovia is 250 miles south of anchorage
loc ated
across from homer on a small remote Peninsula and is only accessible by boat or
a short 10 minute charter plane flight from Homer. Once in Anchorage you will
catch a commuter flight to homer for about $200 rt then its a short 10 minute
charter flight to Seldovia for $50pp you will be picked art the airport by
your guide and host for the week.
Kachemak Bay Alaska Duck Hunting
Kachemak Bay is the home of several large rafts of Sea ducks
during the late fall and early winter. You will have
the opportunity to hunt many different bays and points as it is very uncommon
for us to ever hunt the same place 2 days in a row.
You will have the chance to harvest Trophy
Harlequins-Oldsquaw-White Winged Scoters-Common and surf Scoter, Barrows and
common Goldeneye, Red Breasted and common Mergansers, Greater Scaup
along with a few teal, Widgeon, Shoveler and Buffleheads thrown in. You will
hunt from boat blin ds
or portable beach blinds depending on weather and bird migrations and
specific species your trying to harvest.

In my opinion Capt Buck Brown is one of
the top waterfowl guides in the state of Alaska if not the top one. With
more experience duck hunting and traveling around the state than most other
guides combined. During the past 15 years I have personally hunted and
guided with Buck in too many areas of Alaska to name them all but a few of the
top destination like Cold Bay, Pilot Point, Kodiak ,King Salmon and Cordova.
Along with being a life long commercial fisherman during the
summer and fall You are assured of a safe and enjoyable hunt at a reasonable
price with a great person.
