 Alaska. King Salmon Alaska is at the top of the Alaska Peninsula the
first staging ground for the thousands of Puddle Ducks,
Geese, Sea ducks and
Brant that travel
down the peninsula. This season starts on the 1st of September and
run thru the 15th of December. King Salmon is a very easy place to
travel to and from making this an affordable duck hunt. We
offer combo hunts on the Naknek River and Alagnak River along with trophy
Rainbow Trout and Silver Salmon combo's trips in early September. A great
Cast-N-Blast oppurtunity.
Naknek River Puddle Duck Hunting
 Our hunts in King Salmon
run 3-5 or 7 days and can combine fishing and duck hunting
on the Naknek River and nearby Bristol Bay. From early season Pintails, Widgeon and
teal to late season Mallards this area is a puddle duck hunter’s paradise. We
use custom made decoys, boat blinds, and other quality gear to make this a
truly wonderful hunt. While in king Salmon guest's stay at
local hotels and eat out at the local restauraunts, We will pick you up at the airport
and take you to the hotel, there we will discuss our plans for the next few days
over dinner. Each day you will be guided on a nearby
river, lake or pond at the end of the day you will return to your hotel. combine
these hunts with a fly-out hunt for Ptarmigan or Geese.
Alagnak
River Duck Hunting
Our main lodge on the
upper Alagnak River offers worlclass duck hunting. Our guest's will have the
opportunity to hunt mixed species including Pintails, Mallards, Teal, Shovelers
and Sand hill Cranes over decoys with dogs. The Alagnak hunt is a great early
season hunt from opening day through late September. These hunts take place on
numerous locations throughout the Alagnak River including local Ponds, Slews and
river estuaries offering the resident ducks lots of protection and a great food
sources. If looking for a
comfortable hunt from a wilderness lodge with lots of options this is the hunt
for you. 5 or 7 day Alagnak River lodge duck hunts are available starting at
$2800 per hunter.
